This cozy get-away (1 couple, 2 couples, or small family) offers the best lake views on the street from a first-floor deck and a 2nd-floor master bedroom balcony. This time of year, the bald eagles still launch out over the lake and the water is wildly spectacular. The home is located in a small lakeside residential community - 4 miles from downtown North East. Private neighborhood lake access is only a couple 100 yards away. The home features a large master bedroom (king-sized bed and sitting area), a second small bedroom with 2 twin beds that can also be placed together as a full, a well-equipped kitchen with new appliances and cookware, and upstairs and downstairs full bathrooms.
Visit the many local wineries in minutes, and there is plenty else to do nearby, including antiquing, biking, fishing, golf, shopping, skiing and enjoying small-town amenities in North East. Have breakfast at Butch’s Diner; grab coffee and snacks at the Bean; walk around Gibson Park and the Main Street Shops; and have a delicious dinner at the Skunk & Goat.
Most areas of Erie are a short 25-minute drive. Catch a show at the Warner theater or a hockey game at the Erie Insurance Arena. Peak 'n Peak and Findley Lake are 30-minutes away for skiing and golf. The Chautauqua Institution and Lake are reached in 40 minutes, as is beautiful Presque Isle State Park and the Tom Ridge Environmental Center.
You will be about an hour and a half from Buffalo, and under 2 hours to Niagara Falls, Canada; 2 hours 15 minutes from Pittsburgh; and 1 hour and 45 minutes from the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH.

Summary: I would highly recommend this property for the perfect view of the lake on the deck and from the main bedroom, the cleanliness, and easy access to the quaint downtown of North East. Our stay couldn’t have been better!

Summary: The biggest plus side for this house is the hosts, they were so kind, caring, and accommodating to our family. Also very responsive, everytime I messaged they replied in less than 5 minutes. The house itself is so cozy and welcoming and the views from the back deck are amazing! I was a little disappointed when we arrived to find there was no water access at the house but we discovered after the first day that there is a neighborhood access point about 5 houses down. We were able to easily drive our car there and walk down the path to the water. The path is a little steep but very manageable, my almost 70 year old parents had no issues with it. Everytime we went over there was no one there and we had the place to ourselves, lots of room to swim or boat, and my husband caught a massive catfish in the water. I would suggest curtains or blinds be added to the upstairs bedroom because it gets so bright and hot in there during the day, was a little difficult for my baby to take afternoon naps as well because it was so bright. The only major issue we had during our stay was that the A/C quit working after about a day and a half. I contacted the host and he came over immediately to look at it. It could not be fixed during our stay but the host was genuinely sorry about it and offered to buy us dinner and credited us a night's stay for the inconvenience without us even asking for anything. Overall we enjoyed our stay and were happy with how the host handled the issues that came up.

Summary: Absolutely perfect home for a couple weekends getaway. Cozy with a fantastic view of the lake from the master bedroom. Owners could not have put more care into their home, very clean, quality appliances, fast Internet and thought into every little detail. Everything was provide from a fully stocked kitchen, blankets in the living room, large screen TV, coffee tea, laundry and bath supplies all the way through to wrapped toothbrushes and paste in case you forgot. We've never stayed somewhere the owners out this much care and thought into their guests happiness and satisfaction. They've set a high bar and we will definitely be back next year.

Summary: Perfect for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday craziness. Beautiful view of the lake with gorgeous sunsets. The house was very clean and comfortable. The host decorated the home with welcoming decor. You will have everything you need and more. There is a lot to see and do nearby. Definitely a gem on Lake Erie. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Summary: We loved our stay here! The view is absolutely stunning and the host provided anything and everything we would need for a comfortable stay. This is a great location, close to Presque Isle and the bay, yet not right in the middle of things so it was nice and quiet, and so close to the wine trail!

Summary: This is a great house that’s got fantastic views of the lake. Everything was comfortable and the family really enjoyed the evenings on the back deck. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a great Mother’s Day brunch. They had a Weber grill which made it easy to put some steaks on. It was like this for all of the appliances and cookware, name brand and good solid quality. I really appreciate those touches. The best part was the master bedroom. It’s like something out of an architectural magazine. The ceiling to floor windows captured amazing views of the lake; waking up to the sunrise was a fabulous way to start the day. We truly enjoyed our stay.
